First of all I would like to know more about the whole process of bringing these four noir films by Samuel Khachikian to Cinema Ritrovato. You as a film curator, how did you proceed?
Subito dopo il debutto del suo primo album da solista Through the Hours, avvenuto il 7 giugno 2017, la pianista Meg Morley, nata in Australia ma londinese di adozione, si è esibita a Bologna suonando per il film muto Le Mogli e le Arance (1917) di Luigi Serventi and Lucio D'Ambra, in occasione della trentunesima edizione de Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival.
At the end of the meeting “Recovered & Restored: EYE Filmmuseum – Divas and Colors in Silent Film” will be presented the book Fantasia of Colour in early Cinema (Amsterdam University Press), edited by Giovanna Fossati, Tom Gunning, Joshua Yumibe e Jonathon Rosen. In the interview underlying, Giovanna Fossati explains the start and production of this project.
