Kri-Kri is in love with Lucia, the daughter of a rich jeweller, but as usual, he’s in financial difficulties, and is frowned upon by the girl’s tyrannical father. But if money is lacking, there is certainly no defect of fantasy. He has a telegramme sent from Lucia in which he announces his death. If he won’t pay for a wedding, her old Cerberus can at least shell out for the funeral….
