Film Notes

The surviving Trojans, guided by Aeneas and Achates, are captured by the amazons of the queen of Carthage, Dido. She receives them in her splendid palace and gives the order to put them to death. But Aeneas succeeds in attracting her interest, and he and Dido fall in love.
