Film Notes

Cretinetti is a great sleeper: it is the midday cannon that wakes him and still sleepy he goes to the bathroom, opens the tap of the bath and starts reading the paper as he waits for the bath to fill. Lost in thought he starts to walk, he causes a series of scrapes ending up, diving in the bath in his costume and breaking it in a thousand pieces. He then gets dressed, by firstly putting on his shoes and then his socks, his shirt over the jacked and this over his overcoat. (…) After other exhilarating adventures Cretinetti sits on a petrol tank, lights it and the explosion drops him back in his bedroom where he start sleeping again.
