The diva par excellence Lyda Borelli shines in Ma l’amor mio non muore! (1913) by Mario Caserini, between love, death and Art Nouveau atmospheres and in the extraordinary and stunningly drama, in color, Rapsodia satanica (1915-17) by Nino Oxilia. Francesca Bertini’s talent shines in the melodrama Sangue bleu (1914) still by Nino Oxilia, and in Assunta Spina (1915), one of the highest peaks of Italian silent cinema, which she also directed alongside Gustavo Serena. A unique array of films to rediscover the multifaceted personality of the two protagonists of so many essential films of the silent era.
