Belgrade, 06-15/06/2021

The twenty-third edition of the Nitrat Film Festival, organised by the Yugoslav Film Archive in Belgrade, will present thirty-six films from twenty-six archives in Europe, Japan, Egypt and the United States.

Ernst Lubitsch, Michail Il’ič Romm, José Leitão de Barros, Julien Duvivier, István Gaál, Allan Dwan, Vittorio Cottafavi, William Dieterle, Jean Epstein, Otakar Vávra, Raymond Bernard, Dziga Vertov, Yūsuf Shāhīn, Jacob and Lujza Fleck are just some of the extraordinary filmmakers whose works will be presented in analogic format in Belgrade.

As part of the programme, a 35mm copy of Al Nasser Salah Al-Din by Youssef Chahine, preserved at La Cineteca di Bologna, will also be screened.
