Film Notes
The headmaster for his poor results throws Boireau, an unsociable boy, out of school. His mother goes looking for him and beats him. At home his father beats him too and decides to set him to work and takes him to a hatter, a grocer, a barber and a baker. In an inn Boireau throws himself on a bottle and guzzles away; as- signed to the cellars, he causes a flood by tapping wine from four barrels ending up falling drunk into the wine lake that has formed on the floor.
