Film Notes

In this extraordinary scene, a magician makes a double of himself. The two magicians sit on two chairs, while a paper head on a small table between them comes to life. The two magicians demonstrate that there is no body under the table; the head then develops a body, and the two magicians court the lady who has appeared. She gradually disappears, leaving the two face to face and confused. The two magicians are nothing else but the same person.
