Festival Passes 2024

GUIDE TO ATTENDING IL CINEMA RITROVATO

You can attend the festival by purchasing one of the Festival Passes, which are valid for the entire duration of Il Cinema Ritrovato. You will receive a unique code which will allow you to book seats in advance, for all screenings, as long as there are seats available. The ticket booking system will go live two weeks before the festival.

Access to the Piazza Maggiore screenings is free. However, accredited festival attendees will be given priority access to a reserved area (up until 30 minutes before the start of the screening and as long as there are seats available).

YOUNG PEOPLE PASS (for young people aged 13 to 19) €15.00
Kids: €10 (reduced to €5 for holders of the Schermi e Lavagne 2023-2024 card)
The Kids pass, for children up to 12 years of age, allows access for one child and one or two accompanying adults to all the screenings and afternoon workshops in the Kids section of Il Cinema Ritrovato (subject to availability)

DISCOUNTED RATES

* The Discounted Pass (€60.00) is reserved for people who are over 65

** The Discounted “Bologna” and University Students Pass is reserved for people who are:

residents of Bologna and its province, UNIBO students, students from other universities, friends of the Cineteca, Bianco e Nero supporters of the Cineteca, holders of Card Cultura, Card Genus Bononiae, Museums in the City

When collecting a festival pass purchased at a discounted rate, you must show a valid document to confirm that the reduced rate is applicable.
Please note that all festival passes are non-transferable and for personal use only. They are also non-refundable.

ACCESSIBILITY AT THE FESTIVAL

Festival pass for attendees with disability who do not require a companion.
People with disability (with a certified disability of 67% or higher) may request festival accreditation at the reduced cost of €30 by emailing accessibile@cineteca.bologna.it and attaching a medical certificate. After acquisition, it will be possible for the participant to book their own seats for the desired screenings.

People with disability (with a certified disability of 67% or higher), who require a companion, may request festival accreditation at the reduced cost of €30 and accreditation for the companion at no extra charge by emailing accessibile@cineteca.bologna.it and attaching a medical certificate. After acquisition, it will be possible for both participants to book their own seats for the desired screenings.

In case of motor disability requiring the aid of a wheelchair, the above methods of requesting reduced accreditation and accreditation for the companion are valid. Every cinema has two wheelchair-friendly spaces: we kindly ask that the attendees contact staff prior to the desired screenings by emailing accessibile@cineteca.bologna.it.

WHERE TO BUY YOUR FESTIVAL PASS

Online (for all types of pass except Kids):

The festival’s guest office (for all types of pass except Kids):
Located in the Renzo Renzi Library, Piazzetta Pasolini 3/b starting from June 21 st , with a slight increase in price to:
Standard Pass: €130.00
Discounted Pass: €65.00
Discounted “Bologna” and University Students Pass: €35.00
Press: €25.00
Young People: €20.00
(The Supporter Pass will not be subject to price increase if purchased at the guest office)

Sala Cervi (only for the Kids pass): can be bought from Friday 21 st to Friday 28 th June, half an hour before each screening, in Cineteca, via Riva di Reno 72.

WHEN AND WHERE TO COLLECT YOUR FESTIVAL PASS

All festival passes (except Kids passes) should be collected from the Guest Office (located in Renzo Renzi Library, Piazzetta Pasolini 3/b).

The opening hours are:
June 21-28: from 9:00AM to 6:30PM
June 29: from 9:30AM to 1:00PM and again from 3:00PM to 6:30PM
June 30: from 9:30AM to 1:30PM
