Film Notes

During the last edition of “Cinema Ritrovato”, the restored version of In Cold Blood was presented. The film, directed by Richard Brooks in 1967, was based on a novel by the famous American writer Truman Capote. The story was inspired by a true story (murder of a family in Kansas), and shooting took place on the actual crime scenes. This year two related short films will be screened: actor Scott Wilson’s screen test and a portrayal of the writer on the film set.
