Film Notes

Until now, from Lucio d’Ambra’s production, we only knew L’illustre attrice cicala formica, (directed by d’Ambra in 1920) and La fine dell’amore, 1920, written by d’Ambra and directed by Gian Bistotfi. The researches made for Il Cinema Ritrovato made possible to locate other three films written by d’Ambra: La chiamavano Cosetta, 1917, Effetti di luce, 1916, and the first two reels of La signorina Ciclone. Thanks of the kind co-operation of the Service des archives du film (Bois d’Arcy) the Cineteca could preserve La Signorina Ciclone in the new laboratory L’Immagine Ritrovata.
