For the second year running, we are pleased to have Wim Wenders with us as a guest during Il Cinema Ritrovato festival. The director has a busy festival schedule, from presenting his own films and restorations, to talking about films by other authors. Here are all the events where Wenders will be present at during Il Cinema Ritrovato:

–       Saturday 22nd June, 6.15 pm, Cinema Modernissimo: presentation of his film A Trick of Light;

–       Saturday 22nd June, 9.45 pm, Piazza Maggiore: presentation of the film The Searchers by John Ford;

–       Sunday 23rd June, 6.40 pm, Cinema Arlecchino: presentation of the film Devil’s Doorway by Anthony Mann;

–       Sunday 23rd June, 9.45 pm, Piazza Maggiore: presentation of the restoration of his film Paris, Texas; the film will then be released in Italian cinemas from next Autumn by the Cineteca di Bologna and CG Entertainment and thanks to the Wim Wenders Foundation;

–        Monday 24th June, 11.15 am, Cinema Modernissimo: presentation of the film I was born, but… by Yasujirô Ozu;

–        Monday 24th June, 6.30 pm, MAST: talk, followed by, at 7.45 pm, screening of his film The Salt of the Earth;

–        Tuesday 25th June, 9.30 pm, Arena Puccini: presentation of his film Buena Vista Social Club, currently shown in Italian cinemas distributed by Cineteca di Bologna and CG Entertainment and thanks to the Wim Wenders Foundation.
