HOW TO BOOK (FOR PASS HOLDERS)

EVENTS AND SCREENING IN THE FESTIVAL VENUES:

Monday 10th June at 12pm (GMT+1) the programme for the 38th edition for Il Cinema Ritrovato festival will finally be online on our website festival.ilcinemaritrovato.it

BOOKING OPENING DATE POSTPONED | From 4pm onwards, on Wednesday 12th June, it will be possible for festival pass holders to book their places for the various screenings and events during the festival.

In order to avoid sold out events, we have established three dates linked to the possibility to book online:

• from Wednesday 12th June at 4pm, 50% of the seats for each screening will be available to book
• from Friday 14th June at 4pm, another 25% will be made available to book
• from Thursday 20th June at 4pm, the final 25% will be made available to book

DON’T HAVE A FESTIVAL PASS YET? BUY YOUR PASS

In case you are unable to attend the booked screenings, please cancel your tickets (from within your Personal Area online).
After four no-shows you will receive a warning email and, in the event of further no-shows, your festival pass will be suspended for 24 hours and bookings already made during the suspension period will be cancelled.

SCREENINGS IN PIAZZA MAGGIORE:

• Access to the screenings in Piazza Maggiore is free. For the screenings that will take place from the 22th to the 30th June, festival pass holders can make an online reservation for a seat in the reserved section (the seats are not numbered), until the available seats have run out.
• If you reserve a seat, we ask you to arrive at one of the entrance points no later than 21.15. After that time, your reservation will be automatically cancelled and the seats reassigned.
• In case of rain, when indicated in the programme, Cinema Modernissimo and Cinema Jolly will host the Piazza Maggiore screenings. For this reason, some of the evening screenings scheduled at the Modernissimo and Jolly cinemas are currently unavailable to book because they may be cancelled in favour of the screenings in Piazza Maggiore. Closer to the dates, with the confirmation of good weather, it will be possible to continue booking the original screenings.

You can cancel your booking, both for the festival venues and Piazza Maggiore, at any time up to 75 minutes before the screening.

LAST MINUTE ACCESS (FOR PASS HOLDERS)

• In the festival venues, 15 minutes before the screening starts we will allow last minute access to pass holders who have not booked.
• In Piazza Maggiore, last minute access begins at 21.15 from the entrance located between the screen and the corner of Palazzo del Podestà.

HOW TO BOOK (FOR THOSE WITHOUT FESTIVAL PASSES)

Screenings in Piazza Maggiore:

• The evening screenings in Piazza Maggiore are free and open to all. During Cinema Ritrovato, a portion of the seats in Piazza Maggiore will be reserved for festival pass holders until 21.15 and until all the seats are filled. In the event that there are seats free within the reserved area, we will allow last minute access to anyone after 21.30 (via a dedicated queue by the middle section of the piazza).

People with disabilities can apply for reduced accreditation and complimentary accreditation for the companion, if required. In case of motor disability requiring the aid of a wheelchair, we kindly ask that the attendees contact staff prior to the desired screenings by emailing: accessibile@cineteca.bologna.it
