Il Cinema Ritrovato On Tour resumes its journey around the world with two programs promoted by Brown University and University of New Hampshire on the American streaming platform Eventive, in collaboration with Cineteca di Bologna: 

Il Cinema Ritrovato On Tour in New Hampshire, March 5 – 8.
The third edition presents an international selection of documentaries (including the American premiere of The Forgotten Front on the Italian resistance movement in Bologna), two new restorations of films from India and Iran made by The Film Foundation’s World Cinema Project, and two masterpieces of Italian comedy. Director Gian Luca Farinelli’s lecture entitled ‘Grand Tour Italiano’, given on the occasion of the San Francisco Silent Film Festival, will also be streamed with an English translation.

Il Cinema Ritrovato On Tour at Brown University, March 8 – April 24
Each year the Department of Italian Studies at Brown University offers a selection of film restorations to its audience. The eighth edition will offer a four day program, with a special tribute in memory of Cecilia Mangini, from March 8 to April 24, 2021.
