Film Notes

Hoping to get his own TV show Orson produced a pilot which was never used or aired. Guests are his friends Burt Reynolds and the Muppets (obviously a compensation deal for his appaerance in The Muppet Movie).
«I thought that the Americans will not buy it but that the Australians couldn’t resist to get it. After all, nobody in the whole world was interested in it. It was not helpful to have in the center of the show a talk with Burt Reynolds. I should have known that everybody knew him and that he was doing exactly the same things as everybody had expected and already seen. I will use the passages about magic for my «Magic Show» which will be completed soon.»(Orson Welles, 1982)
