Film Notes

Tontolini is a poor shepherd who amuses himself by reading about the feats of the great Napoleon. When he falls asleep he dreams that his sheep have become soldiers and that he has become the great emperor. We see Tontolini on the battlefield, distinguishing himself with daring horse rides and incredible struggles in which he even embarks in hand to hand fighting with the enemy. In the midst of this fight for his life Tontolini wakes up and continues his battle to the last in the middle of the sheep.
