Film Notes

In order really to enjoy films such as the two above, you must be willing to be moved. Rigadin is more than willing. He cries hot tears when he reads in the paper of the death of twelve chickens which have been run over (doubtless it was one of Fénéon’s Nouvelles en trois lignes), buys wares from all the poor street traders and brings home a stray dog.
