The barbershop is a typical meeting place and the ideal environment for a discussion about different political ideas. Using maps that show world alliances and draughts movements that mime potential political ones, the Comitati Civici give a lesson on the importance of a united and compact European front and find the pretext for a metalinguistic operation. A client who claims that certain ideas are “rumors being spread by the Comitati Civici” is silenced with a brusque reply.
