Film Notes
The first showing of L’Homme at Quartier Latin was rather funny. The audience started to whistle, thinking they were watching an actual instructional film, especially because of Robert Moore, the speaker with the fake beard. The situation changed suddenly when he said: “Man is a mammal because he has mammary glands”. At that point the audience understood that it was a parody and burst out laughing.
