Film Notes

A prince goes to see a wizard to help him get a charming and affectionate girlfriend. The wizard conjures her up, but the prince realizes she is just an illusion and not a real person. Overcome with anger, the prince pounces on the wizard, who changes shape and makes a group of witches appear to defend him. They transform the prince into a beggar. The prince calls on the good fairy, who appears and punishes the wizard by locking him in an iron cage. She then changes the beggar back into a prince, gives him a girlfriend and transforms the witches into princes and lords who become the prince’s and his future wife’s retinue.
