Film Notes
The Lux studio did not last long (1906- 1913) and its films were technically and culturally far more modest than those of Pathé and Gaumont. Yet they are always likeable and often real finds, uninhibited, inventive and delightfully direct. An example is this, a perfect definition of the short film: from cradle to grave in 120 m.
