Film Notes
This is the drama of a father who, as a member of the PCI and following Pope Pius XII’s decree, cannot participate in his daughter’s First Communion. Alone and excluded from the faithful, he watches the celebrations from afar. Nevertheless, the section of the Comitati Civici dedicated to cinema decides that the church doors should remain open in case he should have a moment of redemption from the Communist lies.
