Film Notes
La bella corsara is an amusing film, as well as a trace of the disappearing world of Italian silent cinema. The film adopts a “diva-film” style with an American-like pirate story. The print was located by the Cineteca di Bologna at the Cinémathèque Française, and thanks to the Cinémathèque’s cooperation, it was imported and preserved.
