One can find so much passion in her wide and bright pupils that her admirers’ souls seem to be covered by dew made of light, the light of youth, of feeling, of intelligence. Leda Gys should not hide herself behind her modesty. We admit that from an aesthetic point of view she is just delightful, but today when the most exotic names of foreign artists are on everyone’s lips, and on every theatre screen, it is a shame that an actress such as Leda Gys would not come to the forefront, in an extreme close-up so to speak, when she has such a marvellous artistic personality”.
