It is unusual to find Italian WWI documentaries that actually show the full force of the horrors of war. That is what makes this unidentified film, housed in the National Film Archive, an interesting discovery. The film, though missing intertitles, was shot from the Italian trenches of the battle front and features suicide bayonet attacks and gas masks.
