The film Book Fair has now reached its 14th edition. In recent years, the event has grown and now hosts a wide selection of the best products offered by national and international publishers alongside specialist or rare and out-of-print titles.  Over ninety film book, Dvd and Bly-ray publisher have accepted to participate displaying the most interesting products they have released over the past year; a grand total of over one thousand titles. The main novelty this year are the publications of prestigious American and Canadian universities.
The Book Fair is also one of the rare opportunities to obtain the latest titles from over twenty international film archives. Among these, of course, is the Cineteca di Bologna, which presents two box-sets released in conjunction with the festival: Lumière! L’invenzione del cinematografo e Grand Tour italiano. 61 film dei primi anni del ’900. Alongside its publications from the past year. It is not only the collectors who won’t want to miss the vintage section, which features posters for about 300 films distributed in Italy between the 1950s and 1970s together with rare and precious books.  Finally, there are unique and unmissable gadgets for all enthusiasts.
To make a visit to the Fair even more enticing, there is also Il cinema che legge, an exhibition of thirty-three portraits of film stars immersed in the act of reading.
