Sottopasso di Piazza Re Enzo

Bologna fotografata. Tre secoli di sguardi

A vivid account of a city and its people. This is what the eyes of a photographer can do, an untiring witness of everything that goes on and everyday life. With this exhibition we look back at twentieth-century Bologna through the eyes of many photographers: they capture the changes of modernity while still leaving space for remnants of magnificent relics (city walls) or an unimaginable river profile. Photographers’ images of the urban revolutions
between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries create a long journey through the city’s characters and stories.
