Il Cinema Ritrovato – DVD Awards is promoted by Cineteca di Bologna in the framework of Il Cinema Ritrovato film festival (Bologna, June 25th – July 3rd, 2022). The competition is open to all films released in DVD/Blu-Ray and will take place during the 36th edition of the festival.

RULES OF COMPETITION

The competition is open to DVDs and Blu-rays released between February 2021 and March 2022 of critically acclaimed films made before 1992.

This year 101 DVDs and Blu-Rays from 41 different publishers are partecipating in the competition

FINALISTS AND AWARDS

Starting from the forthcoming edition, Il Cinema Ritrovato – DVD Awards will have two awards and two juries – a Filmmakers Jury and a Film Critics & Programmers’ Jury.

IL CINEMA RITROVATO BOOK-FAIR

All finalists who wish to be part of the festival Bookfair can do so via the same shipping: only adding 10 extra copies of shortlisted DVD/Blu-ray to the Jury parcel (May 10th deadline).
