CR KIDS | What’s in the box?

From the French festival of Clermont-Ferrand, we present a selection of magnificent shorts for boys and girls that, thanks to an intelligent use of a wide variety of techniques, transport the viewer into a world of stories.
From the comic adaptation of Anderson’s fable The Swineherd to the mysterious giant box of Wat zit er in die kist?, which travels by ship, plane and bus without anyone discovering what it contains, and from Lulina, who expresses her fears by drawing on the moon, to Boris, the village baker who suddenly develops an allergy to flour and can no longer make the bread everyone needs.
In addition to its three competitions, retrospectives and themed programmes, the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, now in its 46th year, also features a programme aimed at young audiences, in particular children accompanied by their parents and school parties of all ages. During the course of the year, they also collaborate with educational institutes organising screenings and workshops.
