ACTING TEST BY THE STUDENTS OF THE CENTRO SPERIMENTALE DI CINEMATOGRAFIA: BIENNIUM ’57-’58
Director: Dr. Petrucci. Actress: Claudia Cardinale. 125 m. D.:4’.
This is perhaps the first film footage of Claudia Cardinale.
In the first of two fragments the actress participates in a scene with a strong French accent and an offstage prompter that feeds her the lines. She does not act but simply lives the role which she quickly slips into.
In the second brief fragment the actress does not have any lines. The movie camera remains fixed on her face revealing her disconcerting beauty. Her expression moves from smiling to dramatic without her speaking.
