Film Notes

In this film with no words but only a sound track, Deslaw observes this district of Paris and discovers its minute details and the amazing face of Paris in 1930. The last musical theme is a tango, which gives movement to images from Parisian cafes and their clients: one of them is young and ebullient Buñuel; then empty side tables; a loving look on places and people.
