With the aim of promoting and reflecting on the audiovisual restoration work carried out in different film archives, the Cinemateca Brasileira presents the festival Restaurados da América Latina, with a programme of recently restored Latin American films.

The programme includes seven works restored by the Cinemateca’s Laboratory of Image and Sound. The curators also selected nineteen titles restored by institutions that are members of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) and the Latin American Coordination of Moving Image Archives (CLAIM).
