l Cinema Ritrovato is also an extraordinary meeting place, with the opportunity to listen to artists discuss their work, including Coline Serreau, Alice Rohrwacher, Francesca and Paola Comencini, Terry Gilliam, Asghar Farhadi, Jonathan Glazer, Jim Jarmusch, Robert Wilson, Brady Corbet, legendary cinematographer Peter Suschitzki, head of Gaumont, Nicolas Seydoux, John Simenon, son of Georges, director of the Cannes Film Festival and Institut Lumière, Thierry Frémaux, pioneer of the cinema of Guinea-Bissau, Sana Na N’Hada, one of the most authoritative American film critics, Molly Haskell, and John Huston’s production secretary, Angela Allen. The Boarini Award, dedicated to those who have distinguished themselves in the safeguarding and diffusion of cinema heritage, will this year be presented to four recipients on four separate occasions: Sophie Seydoux, founder of Fondation Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé, Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, founder of the Film Heritage Foundation in India, Boudjemâa Karèche, founder of Cinémathèque algerienne, and Manuela Padoan, director of Cinémathèque Gaumont.
