A charming travelogue of the Italian beauty spot, whose picture postcard images show up the colour to exquisite effect. The panoramic views of the lake, buildings, and boats with red and yellow sails, are capped by a delightful sequence where three musicians in a small boat serenade the camera. Being full of gentle motion, the muted, subtle colour is shown to its best effect, particularly in the rendering of white buildings and reflections in the water.
