With Nicolas Seydoux (Gaumont President) and Gian Luca Farinelli

We celebrate 120 years of Gaumont with Nicolas Seydoux, for forty years president of the historic French production house, which today, in addition to production and distribution, also manages one of the largest film theatre chains in France. A leading figure in European Cinema (amongst Gaumont’s recent productions under his tutelage, one of the biggest successes of French cinema over the last few years, Nakache and Toledano’s Intouchables), Seydoux was also a supporter of Gaumont Italia (1978-1983), an excellent production company from an artistic point of view that failed for economic reasons, which débuted with the grandiose production of Don Giovanni by Losey.
