HOW TO ATTEND TO THE FESTIVAL

You can attend Il Cinema Ritrovato 2025 exclusively by purchasing a Festival Pass, which will be valid for the entire duration of the festival (June 21-29).

Once a pass has been purchased, you will receive your credentials via e-mail. The credentials enable you to access the dedicated festival booking site, where you will be able to book seating in advance for all the screenings at the festival, subject to availability. The booking system will go online two weeks before the start of the festival.

Access to screenings in Piazza Maggiore is free, however pass holders will be given priority access to the reserved seating area (until 30 minutes before the start of screenings or until all available seating has been occupied).

For children up to 12 years of age, the pass allows access – for one child and up to two accompanying adults – to all the screenings and afternoon workshops in Il Cinema Ritrovato Kids section (subject to availability). Available during the Festival’s days only.

REDUCED PRICE PASSES

* The Reduced Price Pass (€60.00) is reserved for people who are over 65

** The “Bologna” and University Student Discount Pass (€50) is available to:

residents of the city and province of Bologna, university students and holders of the following membership cards: Tessera Cineteca (Amici, Sostenitori, Famiglie di Cinema), Card Cultura.

When collecting a festival pass purchased at a discounted rate, you must show a valid document to confirm that the reduced rate is applicable.

Please note that all festival passes are non-transferable and for personal use only. They are also non-refundable.

ACCESSIBILITY AT THE FESTIVAL

Festival Pass for persons with disabilities who do not require a companion

People with disabilities (with a certified disability of 67% or above) may request a Festival Pass at the reduced cost of €50, by e-mailing accessibile@cineteca.bologna.it and attaching a copy of their Disability Card or other valid certification.

Once confirmation of eligibility has been received, they will be able to purchase the Festival Pass online and reserve seating at screenings via the dedicated booking system.

Festival Pass for persons with disabilities who require a companion

In case of motor disability requiring the aid of a wheelchair, the above methods of requesting a reduced cost Festival Pass for persons with disabilities and a free Festival Pass for a companion remain valid. Every screening venue has two wheelchair-friendly spaces: it is necessary to contact staff prior to the screening to reserve a dedicated wheelchair space, by emailing accessibile@cineteca.bologna.it

Kids Passes will also be available at Cinnoteca (Via Riva di Reno 72, Bologna), from 30 minutes before the start of screenings.
