Film Notes

For the Danish release of the film in 1933, the German version (shown at the 2001 edition of Il Cinema Ritrovato) was used, but the credits, intertitles and written inserts were redone in Danish, with a substantially different look from the German originals. Dreyer himself supervised this work.
