Film Notes
Silent out-takes for a Swedish non-fiction film called För barnens skull [For the sake of the children], commissioned by the charity organisation Rädda Barnen (Save the Children), which was released in 1953 and included footage from all over Europe. The footage with Ingrid Bergman was shot by Rossellini in the Santa Brigida nunnery at piazza Farnese in central Rome, and shows Ingrid Bergman assisting the nuns in taking care of clothes, shoes, blankets etc which had been donated to children in need.
