Film Notes

To free the girl he loves, who is held under lock and key by her uncle, Onésime seeks the counsel of a wise elephant, who belongs to a certain Marius. The animal resolves the situation by breaking into the uncle’s villa and freeing the girl. Then disgusted by the competition of braying car horns, the elephant decides to retire from sociey and follow the young lovers.
