Film Notes
Despite a few inconsistencies, it is reasonable to think the Nobody will live up to ninety percent of our expectations, provided we don’t analyze it too in depth. As imagined, Nobody corresponds best to drawing room melodramas. The photography is magnificent in certain places, and the cast is quite satisfying. Roland West took advantage of a situation in which the husband of the guilty woman is an inflexible judge. And he made a winning picture story out of it for Jewel Carmen, who will surely bring great satisfaction to First National.
