Film Notes
The most beautiful film of the series, inspired from Nazim Hikmet’s poem (“I am sixty, if I could live for another five years”). The images do not illustrate the poem (there is no rain for the “spring showers”) but they find, in the close ups of faces, the atmosphere of the city, which echoes the poet’s tone of resigned sadness.
