Film Notes

Solid aristocratic melodrama. An officer loves the queen of Ircania; he saves the royals from a coup d’état, by taking them across the border. The officer organises a plan to reinstate order, but a fire breaks out whilst he is flirting in the queen’s chambers. To avoid a scandal he lets himself be killed by the flames. This print was released into the American market.
