Film Notes

Boireau gets married. The first wedding night his wife Gribouillette discovers in his pockets a compromising photo of a certain Muguette, once Boireau’s fiancée. Fits of fury, tears and desperation for Gribouillette who sulks sitting on a chair, whilst Boireau, annoyed, lies down on the bed and falls into a deep sleep. Boireau in the dream, now that everything with Gribouillette has finished, embarks for Canada. But Gribouillette, due to a sort of telepathy has entered his dream, discovers her groom’s intentions and under a series of disguises chases the unfaithful like living guilt. After various adventures Boireau suddenly wakes up. The newlyweds discover with joy that it was just a bad dream and make up.
