Some of the most well-known guests of Il Cinema Ritrovato 2018 are the subject of an exhibition on the lower level of the Grand Hotel Majestic. Martin Scorsese, Terry Gilliam, Stefano Accorsi, Zeudi Araya, Giancarlo Basili, Saverio Costanzo, Thierry Frémaux, Mario Martone, Alba and Alice Rohrwacher, Giuseppe Tornatore and Luciano Tovoli, stars of last year’s festival, were given a guided tour of the Cinema Modernissimo construction site – the historic cinema just off of Piazza Maggiore that is currently undergoing renovation and will be open to audiences in 2020 – and immortalized in pictures taken by Lorenzo Burlando and Margherita Caprilli.
